Entre os dias 10 e 13 de junho, realizou-se na Turquia o 4º encontro do projeto internacional "Os 5 'R's Artesanato: Reduzir, Reutilizar, Reciclar, Repensar e Recriar", com grande sucesso. Este evento reuniu professores e estudantes de Espanha, Portugal, Malta e Turquia, proporcionando uma rede rica para explorar e aprofundar conhecimentos sobre práticas sustentáveis ​​através do artesanato. A seleção portuguesa esteve representada por cinco participantes: Lisa Gomes, Tiago Armada, Sónia Rodrigues, António Batista e Carmo Gomes. Durante os quatro dias do evento, todos estiveram profundamente envolvidos em atividades práticas e culturais que enfatizaram a reutilização criativa de materiais reciclados. O tema do encontro foi "Recriar" e o programa foi cuidadosamente elaborado para oferecer uma combinação equilibrada de workshops práticos e experiências culturais. O primeiro dia começou com uma calorosa receção e uma introdução ao tema do encontro. Os participantes tiveram a oportunidade de conhecer e partilhar informação sobre as iniciativas realizadas nos seus países. Este arranque estabeleceu uma base sólida para o evento, permitindo uma rica troca de conhecimentos e experiências. No segundo dia, as atenções viraram-se para as atividades práticas. Os participantes participaram em oficinas de artesanato e onde as oficinas foram marcadas por um espírito de colaboração e criatividade. As atividades proporcionaram a oportunidade de aprender novas técnicas e desenvolver competências práticas num ambiente inspirador. O dia contou ainda com um desfile de moda com roupas confecionadas com materiais reciclados, seguido de uma exposição dos produtos artesanais criados durante o evento. As criações apresentadas foram o reflexo da diversidade e inovação dos projetos desenvolvidos pelos diferentes países envolvidos. No terceiro dia, os participantes exploraram um mercado de artesanato local, onde puderam observar como os artesãos turcos reutilizam os materiais e transformam os resíduos em arte. Esta visita não foi apenas enriquecedora em termos de aprendizagem, mas também uma oportunidade para apreciar a vibrante cultura artesanal da Turquia. O quarto dia foi dedicado a uma combinação de experiências culturais e à elaboração de um e-book do projeto. Para além das atividades programadas, o evento proporcionou também a oportunidade de explorar o melhor da Turquia. Os participantes tiveram o prazer de experimentar a deliciosa gastronomia local, com uma variedade de pratos tradicionais que realçam a riqueza culinária da região. Desde os pratos requintados às sobremesas típicas, a gastronomia turca foi um verdadeiro deleite para todos os envolvidos. Para além da gastronomia, o grupo teve a oportunidade de apreciar as deslumbrantes paisagens turcas, que iam desde montanhas imponentes a deslumbrantes panoramas costeiros. Cada experiência contribuiu para uma imersão completa na cultura e beleza do país anfitrião. É ainda referido que o jantar conjunto serviu como um momento de reflexão e celebração de experiências partilhadas, revelando-se como uma oportunidade para estreitar os laços entre os participantes e discutir os próximos passos do projeto. O ambiente era de satisfação e gratidão. A 4ª reunião na Turquia foi um marco significativo para o projeto, oferecendo um espaço vibrante para a troca de conhecimentos e práticas sustentáveis ​​através do artesanato. O contributo de todos os participantes foi fundamental para o sucesso do evento. O encontro não só consolidou a colaboração entre os países envolvidos, como proporcionou experiências culturais e gastronómicas inesquecíveis. Between the 10th and 13th of June, the 4th meeting of the international project "The 5 'R's Handicrafts: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink and Recreate" was held in Turkey, with great success. This event brought together teachers and students from Spain, Portugal, Malta and Turkey, providing a rich network to explore and deepen knowledge about sustainable practices through handicrafts. The Portuguese team was represented by five participants: Lisa Gomes, Tiago Armada, Sónia Rodrigues, António Batista and Carmo Gomes. During the four-day event, everyone was deeply involved in practical and cultural activities that emphasized the creative reuse of recycled materials. The theme of the meeting was "Recreate," and the program was carefully crafted to offer a balanced mix of hands-on workshops and cultural experiences. The first day began with a warm welcome and an introduction to the theme of the meeting. Participants had the opportunity to meet and share information about the initiatives carried out in their countries. This beginning established a solid foundation for the event, allowing a rich exchange of knowledge and experiences. On the second day, attention turned to practical activities. Participants participated in craft workshops and where the workshops were marked by a spirit of collaboration and creativity. The activities provided an opportunity to learn new techniques and develop practical skills in an inspiring environment. The day also included a fashion show featuring clothing made from recycled materials, followed by an exhibition of the handmade products created during the event. The creations presented were a reflection of the diversity and innovation of the projects developed by the different countries involved. On the third day, participants explored a local craft market, where they were able to observe how Turkish artisans reuse materials and turn waste into art. This visit was not only enriching in terms of learning, but also an opportunity to appreciate Turkey's vibrant artisanal culture. The fourth day was dedicated to a combination of cultural experiences and the elaboration of an e-booklet of the project. In addition to the scheduled activities, the event also provided the opportunity to explore the best of Turkey. Participants had the pleasure of trying the delicious local cuisine, with a variety of traditional dishes that highlight the culinary richness of the region. From exquisite dishes to typical desserts, Turkish gastronomy was a real treat for everyone involved. In addition to the cuisine, the group had the chance to take in the stunning Turkish landscapes, which ranged from towering mountains to stunning coastal panoramas. Each experience contributed to a complete immersion in the culture and beauty of the host country. It is further mentioned that the joint dinner served as a moment of reflection and celebration of shared experiences, revealing itself as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between the participants and discuss the next steps of the project. The atmosphere was one of satisfaction and gratitude. The 4th meeting in Turkey was a significant milestone for the project, offering a vibrant space for the exchange of knowledge and sustainable practices through handicrafts. The contribution of all participants was fundamental to the success of the event. The meeting not only consolidated the collaboration between the countries involved, but also provided unforgettable cultural and gastronomic experiences.
