Primeira reunião transnacional do projeto

O primeiro encontro transnacional do projeto "O Artesanato dos 5'R: Reduzir, Reutilizar, Reciclar, Repensar e Recriar", projeto número KA210-ADU-E4D249FE, decorreu entre 29 de maio e 1 de junho de 2023, em Palma de Maiorca. Esta reunião contou com a presença de todos os países que fazem parte deste consórcio: Portugal, Turquia, Espanha e, por último, mas não menos importante, Malta. Relativamente à equipa portuguesa, o evento contou com a presença de quatro participantes portugueses: António Batista, Lisa Gomes, Marta Coelho e Sónia Rodrigues. O programa foi cuidadosamente estruturado para equilibrar momentos de trabalho intenso e oportunidades culturais, permitindo uma imersão total na experiência. A chegada em 28 de maio foi suave, e a receção calorosa dos organizadores criou uma atmosfera amigável desde o início. A integração inicial com os outros parceiros internacionais facilitou a criação de redes e a compreensão das expectativas do encontro. As reuniões no hotel foram produtivas, permitindo uma troca de ideias e práticas entre os participantes. A visita ao CEPA Son Canals e o subsequente passeio turístico de Palma foram destaques do primeiro dia, proporcionando uma visão sobre a cultura local e o sistema educacional. No segundo dia, a visita ao centro de reciclagem TIRME foi particularmente marcante. A demonstração de práticas sustentáveis e o projeto artesanal 5 R foram inspiradores, mostrando como a reciclagem pode ser integrada na arte e na vida cotidiana. O terceiro dia envolveu uma visita ao centro de Deixalles em Palma, onde aprendemos sobre upcycling. A tarde livre em Valldemossa permitiu-nos explorar um dos lugares mais pitorescos de Maiorca, enriquecendo a nossa experiência cultural. As sessões de trabalho prosseguiram no quarto dia com discussões significativas sobre upcycling, complementadas por uma visita à exposição na Escola Superior de Artes Plásticas de Palma (ESADIB). As interações com os colegas durante o almoço e o jantar foram cruciais para fortalecer os laços entre todos. O último dia ficou marcado pela partida das delegações, mas o sentimento de dever cumprido e a riqueza das experiências partilhadas vão perdurar. Participar deste encontro foi uma experiência transformadora. A troca de conhecimentos e práticas com profissionais de diferentes áreas ampliou a perspetiva sobre sustentabilidade e reciclagem. A diversidade cultural dos participantes enriqueceu as discussões e ajudou a compreender diferentes abordagens de problemas comuns. Pessoalmente, a viagem fortaleceu o espírito de colaboração e inovação. As visitas culturais proporcionaram uma conexão mais profunda com a história e a beleza de Maiorca, reforçando a importância de considerar o contexto local na implementação de projetos globais. Em resumo, este encontro foi uma oportunidade inestimável para crescer profissional e pessoalmente. Levamos para Portugal as lições aprendidas, as novas amizades e a inspiração para continuar a trabalhar em projetos que promovam a sustentabilidade e a criatividade.

First transnational meeting of the project

The first transnational meeting of the project "The 5 'R's Handicrafts: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink and Recreate", project number KA210-ADU-E4D249FE, took place between May 29th and June 1st, 2023, in Palma de Mallorca. This meeting was attended by all the countries that are part of this consortium: Portugal, Turkey, Spain and, last but not least, Malta. Regarding the Portuguese team, the event was attended by four Portuguese participants: António Batista, Lisa Gomes, Marta Coelho and Sónia Rodrigues. The program has been carefully structured to balance moments of intense work and cultural opportunities, allowing for a total immersion in the experience. The arrival on May 28 was smooth, and the warm welcome from the organizers created a friendly atmosphere from the start. The initial integration with the other international partners facilitated the creation of networks and the understanding of the expectations of the meeting. The meetings at the hotel were productive, allowing an exchange of ideas and practices among the participants. The visit to CEPA Son Canals and the subsequent sightseeing tour of Palma were highlights of the first day, providing an insight into the local culture and education system. On the second day, the visit to the TIRME recycling center was particularly striking. The demonstration of sustainable practices and the 5 R's craft project were inspiring, showing how recycling can be integrated into art and everyday life. The third day involved a visit to the Deixalles center in Palma, where we learned about upcycling. The free afternoon in Valldemossa allowed us to explore one of the most picturesque places in Mallorca, enriching our cultural experience. The working sessions continued on the fourth day with meaningful discussions on upcycling, complemented by a visit to the exhibition at the Palma Higher School of Plastic Arts (ESADIB). Interactions with colleagues during lunch and dinner were crucial to strengthen the bonds between everyone. The last day was marked by the departure of the delegations, but the feeling of accomplishment and the richness of the experiences shared will endure. Participating in this meeting was a transformative experience. The exchange of knowledge and practices with professionals from different areas broadened the perspective on sustainability and recycling. The cultural diversity of the participants enriched the discussions and helped to understand different approaches to common problems. Personally, the trip strengthened the spirit of collaboration and innovation. The cultural visits provided a deeper connection with the history and beauty of Mallorca, reinforcing the importance of considering the local context when implementing global projects. In summary, this meeting was an invaluable opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. We take to Portugal the lessons learned, the new friendships and the inspiration to continue working on projects that promote sustainability and creativity.
